OP SEPTA β Knife Crime Awareness Week
As part of Op Septa, officers from the Seven Sisters Safer Neighbourhood Teams have been out engaging with the community and carrying out weapons sweeps around Lomond Close, Brunswick Park, Ermine Road Area, Westcott Close, Paignton Park, Manchester Gardens, as part of ongoing efforts to tackle knife crime and keep our communities safe.
While conducting patrols in the park, officers also spoke with members of the public who raised concerns regarding anti-social behaviour (ASB) taking place in the area, particularly during the evening hours.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to speak with us and share their concerns. Your information helps us better understand the issues affecting the local area.
Please be reassured that officers will be conducting targeted patrols during the identified times to help deter ASB, provide reassurance to residents, and maintain a safe environment for everyone using the park.
If you witness ASB or have concerns about crime in your area, please continue to report it to police via 101 or 999 in emergency. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form atβ―crimestoppers-uk.org. |
